Best Council/Contractor Team
Sponsored by Haringey Accord

Proud Industrial was voted as the team that had worked the hardest and produced the best results in cleaning up Haringey. Nominated for their work on removing 30,000 square metres of graffiti and fly posters, reducing (and meeting) target times for removal consistently (from 28 days in 2003 to 15 days in 2004, to 10 days on 1st November 2004, and 5 days from January 2005). The company has been consistently praised by residents for the way it carries out its work, for its sincerity in contacting residents, and for the dedication and tenacity of its staff to removing graffiti and fly posters in Haringey.

London Borough of Wandsworth 2003

Charter Mark for Graffiti Removal
London Borough of Wandsworth

At the heart of the Charter Mark is the fundamental question: what does the customer expect or hope for from the services you offer? None of us can be sure how we are performing without consultation and feedback from users. Charter Mark demands that we listen, act and deliver.

Charter Mark is more about achieving a change of culture than winning a trophy - and change and improvement must be ongoing. Complaints, compliments and suggestions from the customer and staff help improve service.

Charter Mark recognises that people on the front-line dealing with customers and the public daily are often the best judges of what needs to be done to improve service. Staff are involved in the planning of services and are encouraged and empowered to put things right wherever possible.

Wandsworth Council worked hard to achieve their Charter Mark and Proud Industrial was proud to be their graffiti removal contractor and partner.
