Advantages:

REPEATED CLEANING: Graffiti can be removed many times without the need to reapply the coating

BY HAND: No special machinery is required. Graffiti is removed by hand using the graffiti removal kit.

DIFFICULT TO CLEAN AREAS: Because the graffiti is removed by hand without the need for pressure washers, then the coating can be used in areas where the use of machinery is difficult. For example: stairwells, carpeted areas, busy areas where people pass close by.

Disdvantages:

NOT BREATHABLE: The coating can only be applied to dry surfaces that do not suffer from any dampness.

CHANGES APPEARANCE: The coating will change the appearance of the surface. A primer coat can be used to minimise the change.

Advantages:

BREATHABLE: The sacrificial system allows the surface to 'breathe' making it suitable for older buildings and for buildings and structures where dampness may be a problem.

INVISIBLE: The sacrificial system is invisible so can be used on buildings and structures where any change to the surface appearance is unacceptable (although it may dull polished or gloss surfaces).

RAPID GRAFFITI REMOVAL: A hot water pressure washer operating at 90ºC is used to remove the graffiti. The water melts the coating and washes the graffiti away with it.

Disadvantages:

HOT WATER PRESURE WASHER REQUIRED:These can be hired or it may be cheaper to hire a steam cleaning company - removal takes only a few minutes so the cost will be low.

RE-APPLICATION NEEDED: The coating will need to be replaced following the removal of graffiti. Only the area cleaned will require the coating to be reapplied.
