BLAST
Hello, I've been looking round your website
and thought you might be interested to hear about BBC
Blast and our Stencil Graffiti workshop,
BBC Blast on Tour provides free workshops
for young people aged 13 - 19, we have an upcoming event
as part of the London Thames Festival at the South Bank
Centre in London over the weekend of the 10th to 12th
of September.
Blast on Tour takes its mobile media village
to around 30 locations each year. With purpose-built
digital workshop spaces and a performance area, young
people can book into activitys led by BBC mentors and
industry professionals, or drop in to taster sessions
and Q&A's with celebrity talent.
We are raising awareness of Graffiti as
a responsible, legitimate art form. Promoting its use
on designated walls and in legal places. We have two
Stencil Graffiti workshops which are on this Friday
the 10th at 4-5pm then 5:15-6:15. Young people will
get to learn the art of graffiti, work with a professional
graffiti artists and learn to cut out their own stencils
and get to spray their Blast inspired piece. We advocate
graffiti as an artform and teach responsible practice
of it.
I hoped you might be inetersted in including
this workshop in an article in your news section of
the website. We still have places left and young people
can book through the website at http://www.bbc.co.uk/blast/208402
This is a great opportunity to get young
people involved and for them to learn about the responsibility
of graffiti art, your help would be grately appreciated.
Thanks,
