Anti Fly Poster Coatings

In order to effective, fly posters are placed in areas where they will be seen by as many people as possible. This means they are usually found in high streets with lots of pedestrians or busy roads with heavy and slow moving traffic.

They are applied on flat surfaces where they can be put up as quickly as possible and the glue will adhere well. This makes street furniture, pillars between shops, builders hoardings and the disused shop windows prime targets. The fact that fly posters are placed in busy areas makes removal all the more difficult, with the inherent problems of access and protecting the public during the cleaning work.

Anti fly posters coatings can be used to make removal easier and battened hoardings used to deter fly posters from being applied.

Anti fly poster coatings

Anti fly poster coatings are designed to be extremely robust. Some coatings contain Teflon or are slightly textured to prevent the glue from adhering to the surface. Fly posters are removed using soap and water.

Coatings will protect the underlying surface for up to ten years before needing to be replaced. They are well suited to non porous structures like lamp posts, utility boxes and other street furniture.

Stickers applied to street furniture, particularly pedestrian crossing poles, sign posts and lamp columns can quickly give an untidy and un-cared for feeling to a street. Coloured coatings restore the original clean appearance and provide the anti stick properties to maintain it.

Anti fly poster and anti sticker coatings are now within the budget of any business and organisation that wishes to maintain a clean and professional image. Please contact us for further details.

Battened hoardings

The use of battened hoardings is a very effective form of prevention. This location was a prime target for fly posters but since the battons were installed the site havs remained fly-poster free (over one year).
